Dream Final

When the whistle was heard for the first time in the lush green ground of South Africa, on June
11 2010, every one was thinking of a Dream Final, Argentina vs Brazil or a repeat of Last years
final France vs Italy.

From 1966 onwards alternative worldcups have been won by European and Latin Americans
and according to that statistics 2010 was due for Latin America. Of the 5 Latin american sides
which qualified, 4 made it to the Quarter Finals. But Europe came back strongly with 3 teams
entering the semifinal.

Now when we reach the last day of this exciting competition, its quite sure that a new champion will be crowned , either Netherlands or Spain.

Even though they kept their unbeaten run, Netherlands were not impressive in their group
stages. But things started changing with their Quartefinal Clash against Brazil. The Brazilians
drew the blood first, but the Orange 11 came back from behind scoring twice and throwing up the biggest upset of the tournament.

Spain was impressive in their first game, but they failed to score and lost the game. From then
on they played great football and slowly moved ahead to the title clash. And in the second
semifinal they outclassed germany. And it was a big surprise, to see the germans, who thrashed
Argentina and England running behind the spaniards helplessly.

We all thought of a Dream Final and we have another Dream Final

Will it third time lucky for Holland or Can Switzerland boast, we are the team which defeated
"World Champions"

Lets wait till July 11th, when the Soccer city will host the Battle of the Europeans.
